Quick Reference
- Hold the Shift key and Click on a node to select or deselect it. A yellow ring will be displayed around the node.
- Click on a link to select or deselect it. The link color will change to orange when it is selected.
- A selected item (node or link) can be deleted by either menu command or hitting the DELETE or BACKSPACE key, or by right-clicking on the item and selecting 'delete' from the context menu.

To add a new node, use one of the following methods:
- hold the CTRL key and click anywhere on the canvas.
- right-click anywhere on the canvas and select "Add Node" from the context menu.
- use the Add menu command when no node is selected.
- Hold CTRL and click on a node, will open the node for edit.
- Hold the ALT key ("option" key in Mac) and drag a node close to another node, to make a temporary link (with blue dots) between them. Release the node while the temporary link exists, to make the link permanent.
- Alternatively, for creating a link between two nodes by selecting a node and then holding the ALT key down and clicking on another node.
- Add file nodes by dragging and dropping files to anywhere on the canvas. Alternatively, use upload command on the menu.
- To download a file from a file-node, select the file-node and use either download file command on the menu, or right-click on the node and use the command on the context menu.
- Click on the magnifier glass on the menu bar to open the search side-page. You can search by name, content, or tag or a combination of them.
- To perform same operation on multiple nodes, while holding the SHIFT key down, click and drag mouse diagonally until the selection rectangle covers your desired nodes.
